Angry Camaro

The Camaro is about to get OP. Hennessey Performance, the well-known American tuner that created the all-mighty Venom GT, now chose the latest Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, its most powerful stock presentation, to create a record-breaking devil.

In this video, Hennessey proved right that the 2017 Camaro ZL1 can hit 180 mph (290 km/h) without using all gears. This beastly 10-speed sports car can reach this sounding speed while leaving its two last gears unused.

This exhibition of power is a strong stunt to demonstrate the potential of the upcoming project. With a stock beast of this caliber, we can expect wonders from the upgraded version.

The Future of the Camaro Under Hennessey Performance

The upcoming Hennessey project already has a name and it’s intimidating enough: Exorcist. What are they planning to offer? The expectations are around 1,000 horsepower and an acceleration times below 3 seconds before hitting 60 mph (100 km/h).

These numbers, if achieved after the overhaul, would leave behind the segment’s most impressive rivals: the Ford Mustang and the Dodge Challenger, even in its expensive and exotic Demon presentation, which was announced recently.
