The 2016 Cooper Clubman is, at least, an interesting addition to the Mini lineup lately, which has been quite shy. While there are great hatchbacks on the market at really competing prices, this model remains week in terms of attractive offers.

Many optional packages available makes the 2016 Cooper Clubman and its upgraded variant very interesting, but still, there add an extra buck on the already inadequate base price. At the end of the day, this is an excellent hatchback, built under rigid quality standards. It comes to a matter of pure taste.

Let’s see some of the main highlights about the new 2016 Cooper Clubman.

In terms of transmission, there are two gearboxes available: a 6-speed manual and an 8-speed automatic with manual shifting. The performance greatly varies between these two models. The base one goes from 0 to 60 mph (100 km/h) in 8.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 127 mph (204 km/h). Design and Form

The 2016 Cooper Clubman is quite fascinating, this time in terms of design. As all the known Mini models, this shares the trademark factions. To mark the prudential distance, this model is the longest and widest model offered by this car maker. This has allowed the Clubman to deliver one of the most generous spaces inside the cockpit, among other models in the line-up.

The rear end hasn’t the highest sex appeal, but the front fascia features a highly polished finish in comparison with other Mini models. The 2016 Cooper Clubman do not offer more than expected, just the appropriate for its segment. Front bucket seats upholstered with cloth and leatherette for the base version while the S version enjoys Indigo Blue leather with diamond-stitches.

Nice toys like speed-sensitive rain-detecting wipers and engine auto stop-start are present as standard. Options are abundant. The Sport Package comes with LED headlights, 18-inch star spoke wheels exclusive for the S version, 17-inch vent spoke aluminum wheels for the base model, and Dynamic Damper Control.
