The trending car right now amongst young people under 25 years old is the Chevrolet Cruze. The successful compact sedan has sold over 3.5 million units and its new revamped design seems that it will be equally successful in the short term.

Mechanical Aspects and Performance
The naturally aspirated 1.5-Liter four-cylinder engine is available in L and LS trims and it can produce 113 horsepower and 108 lb-ft of torque. The efficiency is competitive, rated at 25 mpg in city and 36 on the highway.
Meanwhile, the 1.4-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder is available in LT1, Eco, LT2 and LTZ trims, and it cranks out 153 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. The efficiency gets better in this presentation and it’s rated at 26 mpg in city and 38 mpg on the highway.
The 1.5L will be matched with a five-speed manual gearbox and the 1.4L with a six-speed automatic transmission with standard stop/start technology in order to increase the efficiency.
Exterior Styling and Spacious Interior
Aesthetically, the 2016 Cruze has changed a lot, leaving its angular outgoing design for one sharper and more modern. The front end has suffered a serious upgrade, including LED technology in fog lights along with a new LED headlights and grille. The shape from sideways is still athletic with sculpted lines and nice alloy wheels, fused with chrome accents in the windows. The end is completely revamped with new LED taillights and black diffuser.
The interior is plagued with gadgets almost everywhere. Trying to keep the young customers satisfied, Chevrolet has made a smart move implementing gadgets which link the car to smartphones with features as 4G Wi-Fi LTE and a wireless charge pad.
In safety features, the 2016 Cruze is one of the best suited in its segment. Amongst the features are ten standard airbags, Front Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist, Rear Park Assist, Side Blind Zone Alert, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. The standard version will include a 7-inch touchscreen or, as an option, an 8-inch one. If that is not enough, a 4.2-inch is presented displaying the driver’s information in the gauge cluster.
In terms of quality, the Cruze’s cabin is full of top-notch materials and good build quality. It looks like a cabin from a more expensive car. The leather seats are comfortable and deliver an elegant sensation.
